What is George Info?
George Info is the new BCR notification service which keeps you up to date with the activities on your accounts. When something important happens in your account you will receive the news by Push notifications, e-mail or SMS, depending on what you choose.

How to enable the notification service?
If you enable George Info, you can be sure that you always know everything that happens in your accounts and you yourself choose what information you receive and how you want to be notified.
You can activate and configure it yourself in both the George app and in George web, without the help of the bank.
You choose on which accounts of yours to activate George Info and through which communication channels to receive notifications. If you have the BCR Alert Service, by activating the George Info service, you will deactivate it automatically.
Your notification channels
You can have up to 3 communication channels:
- Push notifications
- SMS
You can choose the type of notification for which you want to activate the service and the minimum threshold from which you want to be notified, with the following options:
- Info on receipts
- Info on expenses
- Credit card info
How much do I pay?
Costs apply only to the SMS communication channel, regardless of the type of package you have opened:
- Free of charge – Push notifications and email
- RON 0.5/SMS received
