Banca Comercială Romană (BCR) received an additional ceiling amounting to RON 490 mil. for the “Prima Casă” programme. The money can be used to purchase any type of home under “Prima Casă” programme.

BCR estimates they will grant over 7,500 new “Prima Casă” credits.

“BCR received a ceiling amounting to RON 490 million, in order to help grant guarantees as part of the “Prima Casă 7” programme. We believe we will fully use the granted ceiling and that we will need an additional ceiling around the end of the year,” stated Ioana Mihai, Manager of BCR Secured Credits Department.

Through the “Prima Casă 6” programme, BCR has already granted about 6,000 credits, and from the very beginning of the programme until now, about 38,000 credits amounting to over RON 6.3 billion.

The evolution of mortgage credit sales in 2014 experienced an increase regarding the standard mortgage credit which equalled the sales of the “Prima Casă” programme, but at the end of the ceiling granted to the Programme, evolutions show that there are higher sales regarding the “Prima Casă” programme.

Over the Programme period, the “Prima Casă” credit maintained its attractiveness especially for young families which were able to benefit from a low advance and cost-related favourable conditions.

BCR promotes a competitive offer for the “Prima Casă” credit – Robor index for 3 months + 2.3% margin for clients who receive their salaries in BCR accounts.

DAE = 4.13% for a credit totalling RON 160.000, covering 30 years; variable rate: 3.8% (ROBOR 3M + 2.3%); evaluation fee: RON 370 including VAT; monthly instalment: RON 746; total payable value: RON 275.536.

This example is just indicative, valid during February 2015 only for persons who receive their salaries in BCR accounts.
