Bucharest, 31 January 2017 – Banca Comercială Română approved, at the end of 2016, a €25 mn. loan to TMK-ARTROM Slatina (ART), reimbursable in seven years. The borrower will use the loan to buy a heat treatment line, which is scheduled to start working in the third semester of this year.
”Following the investment, the annual capacity of the heat treatment line will be 160.000 tons and will be able to treat tube with a maximum wall thickness of 60 mm. Once this new line of heat treatment is commissioned, TMK-ARTROM will strengthen its presence on the market, producing superior tubes for mechanical applications and for oil and gas exploration”, declared Adrian Popescu, Director General of TMK-ARTROM.
