Bucharest, April 9, 2020 - BCR InnovX, the technology acceleration program announces the companies which entered the incubation program dedicated to the Start-up group, with turnovers between EUR 100,000 and EUR 1,000,000, in Bucharest. The jury selected 13 start-ups from Cluj, Iași and Bucharest which will start the incubation program in between March 30 and April 10. The best start-ups will subsequently enter the acceleration phase.
The 13 companies which entered the program are:
- Energymall: is developing a digital channel for consumers, for the sale of electricity and gas contracts
- NUTRIACRE.LIFE: is developing the first free prevention application by means of a digital platform for nutritional analysis
- Space Hub: deals with the assembly of nanosatellites and sending them on the Earth's orbit
- Finqware: develops technological infrastructure and products meant to support Open Banking
- Ingenious: develops solutions for complex servers, especially government projects
- Cyscale: is building a design platform for cloud domains
- Life as a gift: a mapping application of preferences and events for the loved ones
- Maaster: the implementation of a model of urban transport routes planning in order to reduce traffic and pollution
- MEETAIBA: end-to-end automation for IT business analysis by means of 7 modules
- Enersec: an innovative collaborative platform using ML and blockchain for IoT systems protection
- ORAROO: a cloud platform by means of which SMEs can digitalize their personnel processes
- Mount Devel: services for employee safety in biotech and pharma companies using AI and facial recognition
- Vendax: a HR platform which automates the companies' recruitment process

In the context of Covid-19 pandemic, BCR InnovX allocated 10 additional places in the incubation program in Bucharest for start-ups offering innovative technological solutions dealing with the current health business and social activities challenges. The initial registration deadline, March 29 was extended so that start-ups can register until April 30 for the program dedicated to solutions for Covid-19.

Also, the companies benefit from international exposure, by establishing global goals even from the planning phase, as well as solutions for access to technical and technological resources offered by the partners in the program as well as key-innovative information", says Daniel Dumitrescu, CEO InnovX.
The members of the selection committee for the Start-ups group was composed of: Nicu Iancu (security expert), Bogdan Stefan (Innovationa and Technology Expert, Asseco SEE Romania), Daniel Ilie (Former Special Forces Commander, Mircea Moraru (Senior Associate CMS), Bogdan Hristescu (Euronet Reginal Manager), Silviu Florea (fintech solutions developer), Adela Ioniță (Business Owner Tu în Centru), Daniel Dumitrescu (CEO InnovX), Ana-Maria Crețu (BCR Start-up Programs Manager), Petr Jirat (BCR Retail Risk Manager), Ciprian Păltineanu (CEE investor) and Diana Dumitrescu (InnovX Manager).
The two-week incubation program of BCR InnovX includes:1. Leadership workshop;2. Investments workshops; 3. Branding workshop;4. Drafting a business plan;5. Mentorship program offered by InnovX Alumni and BCR management team.
The accelerator is a project carried out in a partnership with UiPath, Microsoft, Startup Grind in partnership with Google for Startups, Mindspace and European Center for Services Investments and Financing (ECSIF). BCR covers the costs for all the scholarships granted to entrepreneurs participating in this project, courses and logistical costs.
