Current account
The current account for legal persons is a banking product used by legal entities to manage their payments, collections and cash reserves.
Customers can benefit from this service both for payments initiated on paper and for payments initiated through electronic or Internet banking.
Once the payment is processed, BCR forwards the electronic confirmation of payment to the customs offices regarding the Payment Order sent to the State Treasury on paper, which represents the proof required to grant the customs clearance for the goods destined for import or export.
To activate the product, the customer signs the "Agreement concerning the electronic settlement of customs duty", which goes into force 7 working days after it has been signed by both parties. This agreement will include the manner in which the payments are initiated (on paper or electronically) and the list of customs offices for which the electronic settlement of customs duty is requested.
